What needs to be considered? Our carpet cleaning company uses different methods depending on the material and degree of soiling:
The carpet is soaked with the spray extraction agent to allow the cleaning chemicals to work before extraction. This process improves the cleaning result. The floor is then cleaned using the spray extraction device and the cleaning agent is applied again. We pull the attachment over the floor, simultaneously pressing cleaning chemicals into the carpet and vacuuming them out again.
We then extract with clear water. The variant of cleaning by spray extraction is also possible with poorly bonded carpets, as the mechanical action is very low. The result is a hygienically clean fabric.
Professional shampooing of a textile floor is achieved with special shampooing machines or alternatively with the help of a so-called single-disc machine. When using this equipment, the cleaning agent, which is specially formulated for the carpet fibers, is massaged into the fibers.The rubbing movements of the machines finally loosen even stubborn dirt. This is removed from the carpet in the next step of the extraction process. Finally, the last residues can be rinsed out of the pile and vacuumed away using a spray extraction machine.
The carpet is moistened with a cleaning chemical using a spray gun. The carpet is then cleaned with the respective pad and a single-disc machine. This method has more of a superficial cleaning effect and can also be used without major effort, as no furniture needs to be moved. This type of carpet cleaning can be carried out overnight. However, this should only be seen as an intermediate cleaning method, as too much chemical builds up in the carpet fibers in the long term.
A special powder that is slightly damp is used for this purpose. This is sprinkled onto the carpet to be cleaned and then cleaned with a brush and a single-disc machine. Once enough dirt has been absorbed into the powder, it is vacuumed away with a special brush vacuum cleaner. Depending on the type of carpet, this cleaning method is not always recommended, as the powder sometimes gets stuck in the carpet and can only be removed with a spray extraction.
A visit is required in any case.
Impregnation with a water-based product prevents the penetration of water and dirt and makes maintenance cleaning easier. Furthermore, the intervals between intermediate or basic cleaning are extended.
